What our clients have to say…
If you want a great fishing experience Fozie’s your man!! Had a great day out and caught plenty of fish, made easy by this mans knowledge of this coast!! Di was fantastic too prior to organizing out trip and made sure we were well informed. We will be back.!!
Great charter, Rob couldn’t do enough to help us out and was very professional and courteous, most importantly he put us on the fish and we all came away very happy!!! 10/10 would definitely go with him again.
Thanks for a great day out today Fozie. We will be back in snapper season. Paul & Sam Hunter.
Rob (skipper) always puts you on the fish! From snapper, pearls, bluespot, flathead, and jewfish in the winter to marlin, dolphin fish and kingies in the summer, Rob really knows how to catch all year round. Very comfortable boat and very flexible fishing techniques and booking – small groups and large. I highly recommend Fozie’s…
Fozie clearly knows his stuff. A really good fella who took us to the spots he knows will get you results. The sea was a bit lumpy when we went out but he kept us busy with a great catch at the end of the morning, and a great fresh fish feed for all that…
Thank you for taking us our today! We had a swell time on our whale watching tour. It was amazing taking advantage of both sides of your boat!!
All you need is loose comfortable clothing, a jumper / raincoat depending on the day. Sunscreen and a hat and any food you may like to nibble on. A Great attitude is always welcome.
Alcohol is permitted BYO, we ask that you drink responsibly and not put yourself and others on the boat in any danger.
Sea sickness is a chance to those who don’t go to sea very often. We recommend you take a seasick tablet 1 hour before boarding the boat and another before we leave port. Various brands of tablets and old wives’ tales on the prevention of seasickness are out there, we find the use of Kwells to be the most consistent performer. I found the first 30 years the hardest to get over seasickness, but it gets considerably easier after that.
We DO NOT CLEAN YOUR CATCH, we feel this is part of the fishing experience. We will ice down the fish caught and distribute them to you upon arrival back at port. Bring a suitable esky to take home your fish as well as a fish scaler/ knife to clean your catch. There are excellent fish cleaning facilities adjacent to both Ballina and Evans Head Marinas.
